Now What?

As Sophanne pointed out in the comments to my last post, one must have WIPs in order to have FOs (does anyone else out there find it funny that knitters have their own acronyms, just like government agencies and large corporations?). After my frenzy of finishing, I'm a little short on WIPs. In fact, if you don't count the silk--and I don't, since I've only just cast it on, and I'm not sure if I'm going to go with my design at all--the only thing I have on the needles is Orange, and I'm on the last sleeve. That's it. One project. I don't even have anything waiting to be frogged and re-knit. There's not even a sock in my purse!

Which leads me to another realization: one must have WIPs in order to blog. Without them, there is precious little to talk about. So, since I'm a little short on WIPs right now, allow me to distract you with this: which finger are you?

I'm a pinky. Not sure how I feel about that.

I must share my finger- I am a thumb.

You areunique and flexible. And you defy any category. Mentally strong and agile, you do things your own way. And you do them well. You are a natural leader... but also truly a loner. You inspire many but connect with few.

You get along well with: The Middle Finger

Stay away from: The Pinky

That popped up and I laughed out loud.

There is a certain peace in not having an ufo's around for me.

Well, Sophanne, I redid the test two hours later and came up a thumb, too! Now I'm not sure how to stay away from myself.

Thanks for the interview story on my blog! LOL! Those people obviously had NO sense of humor if they didn't hire you after that! The interview is for a nursing job, and I am kind of an "off-the-cuff" kind of person, so that leaves lots of room for sticking my foot in my mouth! :)

I started to post a comment and Ciya (one of my dogs) nosed the keyboard and published the comment when it was about half completed. So I deleted it and am trying again. Here goes....
I couldn't resist your What Finger are you? Turns out I am a Thumb. Dan saw me and decided to take his turn. He ended up as a middle finger. He laughed and said that meant he was expressive. Apparently I looked unimpressed because he then explained the middle finder was the one finger when held upright that everyone understood. Leave it to a man to come up with that.
