Note to Self:
When knitting the front of a v-neck sweater, remember to read the directions for "front" instead of just following the directions for "back" until reaching the shoulder bind off. This works better if you want to end up with an actual v-neck and not a turtleneck. *&%!

Feelin' your pain.
Oh no! I have done things like that. The trick is to start knitting it again immediately after ripping so the mojo doesn't find out and have a slump.
I'm thinking "v" thoughts real hard here and sending them westward in hopes of helping on Effort #2. Luckily the color and the yarn probably make the reknit rather less painful than it might have been.
been there, done that...
Yo I've done that very same misdeed, too! But unlike you, I just took the lazy route and made the turtleneck. And I hate turtlenecks. But it was for a baby, so who cares?
Argh! I hate it when I do stuff like that.
Ouch!
Happens to the best of us, if our mind is wondering. Focus, Suzanne, focus. :D
Ouch! That sucks. I feel your pain.
damn! she who shall not be named is out to get you. I don't think it's the knitting goddess anymore. I'm thinking she must have an alter ego living at your house.
Oh, so sad. Now my lace mishap does not seem so bad. I tried to distract that darn Knitting Goddess for you - I will just have to try harder!
