How long did you think it would be before another dog came to stay?
This is Kosmo. He came today. He's a Shepherd-Husky mix (we think). Young, male, docile. He gets along fine with Sophie and Heidi, and he loves to cuddle with my boys. He ended up in a local shelter as a stray and was pulled by a rescue group after he was put on the "euthansia list". For three months, he's been boarding in kennels because the rescue could not find a foster home for him. So now he's staying with us while he waits (cough, cough) for his permanent home.
My boys keep asking me how long I'm going to pretend that we're just fostering him.

Welcome to the best home you'll ever have Kosmo!
He's certainly a handsome addition to the family.
Hello, Kosmo! Welcome to the Yarnhog Castle.
Kosmo the imaginary foster dog... Glad to hear he's such a good fit. Hope he doesn't eat yarn. He does look like he'll shed some spin-able fiber. :-)
Your boys know you well! Congrats on your new addition.
He's so PRETTY!
(p.s. welcome back! we've missed you)
I just reread your post about Sam and cried all over again. Looks like Kosmo will be a wonderful addition to the family whether it be temporary or permanent. Got to love the joy a dog brings into our lives. I am so thankful that I am a "dog person." Hope life is treating you well. I've been thinking of you often as I've been working on my first knit of my own design (well, first sweater knit of my own design). I am too the finishing stage and THINK it has actually turned out great. Hopefully I don't weave in the ends and find out otherwise. Hope to post FO pics soon :).
He is beautiful and smart to know that he has found a great home.
Great to see you posting, hope that all is well.
Congrats on your handsome new dog!
He's wonderful - lucky him & lucky you.
He's beautiful. :)
Glad to hear he's such a good fit. Hope he doesn't eat yarn. :)
