Ouch

Today was sort of a perfect storm at work.

You know how you have days were stuff just goes wrong? And then there are days when people are mean to you? And sometimes you have days where you mess up? Have you ever had all those days at once?

I have.

Today.

It sucked.

I came home and realized, in telling the KH about my terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day, there wasn't one moment all day when I wasn't suffering.

That's a bad day.

So I had a big glass of wine and hugged my family. Family is good. They have to love you, even on the bad days. Wine is good, too. Can you tell?

I guess some days are just like that...even in Australia.

This job business? It's for the birds. Except I like bird so I'm saying "it's for the slugs". I'm not terribly fond of them.

And THAT is why we need a family. Or one really, really good friend who will hug you and pour you a glass of wine and tell you that you rock and the rest of them? They suck.

Glad you had the fam to take care of you.

Oh dear, that is a very bad day!

It is great to have family to hug and listen to your woes. It does make one feel so much better.

Wishing you the best weekend ever :)

Oh, I'm sorry! I hate those days. The only consolation--you hardly ever have two of them in a row.

Just look into the sky...clouds are drifting by. As days do!

Oh Yes! Admittedly if I let my body run my days, then it's a bad day every day BUT I don't let it. Now people are another matter entirely. Yes, can have it all in one day! Email nasties, people knocking me because they wait till the last second to get out of the way. I refuse to believe that just because I'm in a wh/chair they don't see me, then maybe I have dropped and smashed more crockery, grip bad, the dogs fight, the skies open sand rain down on my dogs who are all longhaired and I don't notice and they don't bark,my knitting has to be frogged, a needle breaks, the machine mispatterns, the yarn breaks, i drop a whole load of sts on my handknitting. Yes, such days are best forgotten. Can't stomach wine but I take extra pain meds till I no longer care! :-)

Hey....you still there? I'm a bit worried about you. You've been having a pretty rough time and there has been a looooong blog silence. Hoping that you're feeling better and are just too busy to post right now.
