I hate it when that happens.
Oh man, makes me so happy I have a dog that so entirely uninterested in all my hobbies...hope it untangles easily!

I used to knit socks with my cat happily sitting next to me until he quietly chomped through the circular cable while I was knitting socks. I lost 2 good addi turbos this way. His new name is stealth kitty because I never saw him move or even notice the knitting cable.
