So sweet...I especially like the tiny fawn that was "adopted" by the cat. Animals can be absolutely amazing.

It puts a lump in my throat just watching them. One of my Apso reared a kitten once, many years ago. She still would chase other cats, but Peter was her baby. We found him in a rubbish bag with his dead litter mates that Cia would just not leave go of. When we heard this little meow we knew why and took it home and Cia raised him with her puppies.

Awww, I loved the part with the fawn. One summer, a little fawn came into my backyard every afternoon to rest in our woodshed from the sun. Near the end of the summer, I noticed his mother came along one day and they both went home. I never saw him again, but it touched me so much that I wrote a story based on the fawn in college for a literature final.
