Hear That?

That's the sound of the Knitting Goddess laughing.

This is where I ran out of yarn on the bind off. $#%&!

  4. Oh no!!!

Maybe someone else on Ravelry had a bit leftover from a project they did with that same colorway??

Do you have anything at all that matches??

    Good luck!

  5. Wow, that's cruel. But I second the idea to appeal to the Ravelry crew. I had to do that with my Malabrigo Sock Ishbel, and it worked!

Shawl is gorgeous, by the way.

And my word verification is "screarm". I'd screarm, too.

  9. Been there, done that, too many times. One solution I have used to success is to use a different, but complimentary yarn for the bind off row. I try to find a darker shade of a similar color. It really frames the piece well. Or, rip out and redo!

  11. Hey, I remember the Harlot writing about doing a bind-off with a crochet hook and it takes no yarn at all.

  12. Oh NO! I hate it when she does that.

  13. That's the worse case of "bind-off suspension" I've ever seen. I send you my deepest sympathies. I'm sure I heard your shriek of frustration all the way up here...

  14. Hell, I have some black Red Heart lying around somewhere. I could send it to you to finish that bind-off. No one will notice a thing.
