The Big 4-Oh My God!

It's true: Today I'm officially middle-aged. But isn't this a great cake? My darling husband threw an amazing surprise party for me on Saturday night--and it was actually a surprise! More pictures to follow...

    Happy b'day! Welcome to the Good Years :-) Those would be the years when you are no longer chasing toddlers nor just hoping for a career, the years when you are busy but fulfilled and are beginning not to care what the rest of the world thinks. At least, that's how they were for me; ymmv :-)

    My baby brother just turned 40 in Jan'09 and he got 40 plastic flamingoes set up in his front yard by his girls.

    Enjoy your birthday week! Once you hit the big four oh, a single day is not enough for the celebration.

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you have been middle aged since 35.3 score years and ten. Yet to me middle aged has always been 50's. Which is where I am! 40-50 flew by but they brought me to best years.
